VCE VET Dance covers the fundamentals of dance training and prepares you for a career in dance with industry-relevant skills and valuable experience. 

The program provides students with the opportunity to:

• Develop strong technical dance and choreography skills
• Build industry knowledge and confidence through performance preparation and safe dance practices
• Gain transferable skills such as teamwork, self-discipline, and resilience
• Experience what it’s like to train as a professional dancer, teacher, or choreographer while completing secondary school

Upon successful completion of the two-year program (Units 1&2 and Units 3&4), students will receive:

• CUA20120 Certificate II in Dance (Nationally Recognised)
• Statement of Attainment towards CUA30120 Certificate III in Dance

An optional third year is available, leading to the full CUA30120 Certificate III in Dance.
