The JOKSOD Extension Program (JEP) - Contemporary is an evolution of our highly successful JEP Classical stream. 

It is the perfect opportunity to extend your current training in contemporary dance and prepare yourself for a future career. We will work on contemporary technique and lyrical and contemporary variations, choreography and improvisation techniques will also be explored.

To qualify, dancers need to be already attending Classical ballet classes and regular contemporary classes. This program does not replace regular classes but builds upon the learnings to improve technique and dance quality. 

It is for dancers 13 years and older and we are offering this internally to JOKSOD students as well as to outside students from other dance schools (by audition only).

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed students to attend this special class.

Expert Teachers

Our JEP Contemporary program will be led by the incredible Ben Cure as our main teacher, an esteemed choreographer with a history of choreographing for music videos, international conferences and industry events. His founding company Lion Heart has produced 6 seasons of work and known for producing work that is engaging and meaningful.
