Ella McMillan

Ella McMillan began dancing at the age of three and trained at Joanne O’Kelly School of Dance for 13 years. She then went on to full-time training at Patrick School of the Arts Tertiary Dance Program, graduating in 2023 with a Certificate IV in Dance.

During her time at Joanne O’Kelly, Ella completed all Cecchetti Ballet Australia examinations up to Advanced 2 with honours. She received numerous Excellence Awards and Cecchetti Scholarships for achieving the highest marks in the state and was recognised as a Cecchetti Scholar for several years. Additional highlights include achieving a perfect score for her VCE Dance Skills solo and being named the Australian winner of the Energetiks Model Search, appearing in a variety of national campaigns.

Now working as a professional dancer, Ella’s career highlights include performing with Katy Perry at the 2024 AFL Grand Final at the MCG and being cast in Lion Heart Dance Company’s 10th anniversary production of What The Flock. She has also performed in a range of corporate events and productions with companies including Kermond Creative, Southern Beat Productions, Mike Snell Entertainment, and J Smith Productions.

Alongside her performance career, Ella is passionate about teaching and is currently working towards a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management. She is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of dancers and prides herself on creating a positive and supportive class environment, building strong and meaningful relationships with each of her students.
